I decided that staircases are awesome, and that I'd do a little comparison here. You see this white steel skeleton structural system all over the place in the UK. I haven't seen anything quite like it back in the states. Note the floating stairs.
One of the staircases going up to the owner's lounge in one of the exhibits. I just really like how they were able to make the supporting fins so thin.
I don't remember which company this was for, but this has a lot more sophisticated feel to it. I like wood.
These are the building stairs down to the bathrooms. Once again we have glass railing infill and floating stairs.
