day five...

Sunday on my own. Slept in again! Missed church. Gabe did also. He needed to get his rail pass stamped so we decided to head out to the train station to get it taken care of. After waiting in a few of the wrong lines...(horrible signage Victoria Station)...he finally got it taken care of. We had a mad hankering for some cheap fish and chips, but we happened to be in the nice area of town, where cheap doesn't exist. We turned it into an afternoon stroll around Buckingham and area. As far as design goes, nothing really stands out except for one set of illustrations. Along the park near Buckingham Palace, there are rows of artists selling their work. One in particular is a set of illustrations of London things. Some guards, a double-decker bus, a telephone booth, etc. Except painted using only black and red, and with a cartoonish feel to them. I wanted to buy the whole set, but I don't have $$$ coming out my @$$...also no pics for today.
